It all began with my aspiration to create a drone tailored for search and rescue missions. Given that my home country, Turkey, is situated atop various fault lines, the development of a post-disaster search remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) held particular significance for me. Static Stress Analysis & Design Optimization


Once the body design has been completed, I’ve conducted a Static Stress Analysis to validate the design. Then I optimized the frame design accordingly. You can refer to the following ‘Stress Analysis on RPA’ presentation for more details.

Here are some Key Features

  • Generative-type Mesh

    To enhance structural stability while limiting the total weight and being aesthetically pleasing.

  • Component Tray

    To place and stabilize electrical components. Incorporates necessary wire openings and realistic models for components.

  • Landing Gear

    To protect motors and propellers. Dissipates the impact of landing.

  • Mounting Points for Camera

    Created using Surface Design tools. A Motion Study has been created to make sure the Camera’s tilting motion was not affected.
